You can use the Google Play Store to download apps, games, movies and TV shows, and more on your phone.

Download apps

You can download apps from the Google Play Store from your phone, or to your phone from the web.

On your phone

  1. Tap Google Play Store Google_Play_Store_icon.png
  2. Select an app, then tap Install

To download an app even quicker, tap HC_Download_apps_to_your_phone_More_Menu_Vertical_icon.svg next to the app name, then tap Install. If you see Open instead of Install, it means the app is already on your phone.

Before downloading the app, check the information notice below the app name to make sure it's compatible with your phone. Click HC_Download_apps_to_your_phone_Info_icon.svg to see your phone in the list. After you click Install, the app should download remotely to your device.

Reinstall apps

To re-download an app you removed from your phone:

  1. Open the Google Play Store Google_Play_Store_icon.png
  2. Tap Menu_icon.svg in the top left corner of the app
  3. Tap My apps & games
  4. Tap Library

Here you'll see all the apps you've previously downloaded to your phone. Tap Install to the right of the app to download it. If the option to install isn't available, it's most likely because there's a newer version of the app. Tap HC_Download_apps_to_your_phone_Search_icon.svg in the top right corner of your screen, then search for the updated app in the Google Play Store.
